Roundness measurement in seconds

The challenge
Until now, the customer has been carrying out random sample measurements of its products manually. The customer would like to integrate this work step into the production process as an automated step.

Ankrit solution
Measurement floating on air cushions: At a measuring device resolution of 250 nm, the diameter and shape tolerances such as roundness, uniform thickness, taper and much more can be measured using statistical and Fourier analysis. The big advantage is the speed at which all the properties of the product can be recorded and analysed – in just a few seconds.

Inner contour scanner

The challenge
Finding an optical measuring device that can measure inner contours quickly and accurately.

Ankrit solution
An inner contour scanner with line laser: The Scheimpflug Principle is used to measure inner contours (diameter: 20-84 mm) to an accuracy of 60 µm at high speed. The measuring head can rotate unrestricted in both directions. This means superimposed measurements are also possible, increasing the measurement accuracy further with statistical methods. 

Laser engraving machine with 193 nm wavelength

The challenge
Cost-effective laser engraving on transparent materials in the nanometre range.

Ankrit solution
Excimer laser: This machine can engrave a range of different transparent materials. And it can halve the costs per laser shot. The repeat accuracy is 10 µm. The engraving can also be projected onto spherical surfaces.

Bonding safety glass films

The challenge
Automated and vacuum-free bonding of transparent substrates with thermally toughened glass films.

Ankrit solution
Use robots in a clean room to bond different types of glass: This is a machine that combines all the requirements and work steps. The process is fully automatic with the joint gap precisely maintained in the micrometre range.
